Micheal Parks Construction, Inc. |
||
Built on Integrity Micheal himself has been passionate about sustainable building technologies ever since discovering Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic domes in high school—and building a dome of his own at the age of 14. He renovated his first home—a 100-year-old cabin he was also living in—as a fine arts student at the University of Arkansas in 1974. After graduate work in sculpture at the Johnson Atelier in Princeton, he built one of the very first earth-cooled, solar-heated homes in north Louisiana, in 1980. He has been applying his artist’s sensibilities and passion for elegant construction to the building of sustainable environments ever since. Whatever the project, he strives to employ traditional craftsmanship, along with the best tools and technologies from any era, to create beautiful, long-lasting, living environments for the benefit of his clients and our community. |
